Katrina Martinelli is a native of Moorestown, NJ were she starred at Moorestown High School, one of the Garden State’s perennial high school powers. At Moorestown, she was a member of Quaker squads that won three State Championships, three Group III Championships, three Group III Central Sectional Championships and three Burlington County Division Championships from 2007-2009. She was a two-time All-American, in 2009 and 2010, and was the Quakers’ leading goal-scorer in 2009 and 2010 when she found the back of the next 61 times. A First-Team All-State and All-South Jersey selection in 2009 and 2010, Martinelli was named Midfielder of the Year as a senior by the Women’s Lacrosse Club of South Jersey (WLCSJ). After high school Katrina went on to play at Rutgers University where she earned All-BIG EAST and Big East Player of the Week honors. She capped her outstanding collegiate career by being selected to the prestigious IWLCA North-South All-Star Team where she competed on the North squad.

Katrina started her coaching career, while in college, as a club coach for the South Jersey Select Lacrosse Club at many levels ranging from grades 4-12. After graduation she went to coach at Wagner College, an NCAA Division 1 institution in New York City. During her time at Wagner, the team went on to the NEC Championship both years. In addition to her duties with the Seahawk coaching staff as offensive and recruiting coordinator, Martinelli pursued a masters of business administration.
