Cori Conner was born in Washington D.C and spent most of her youth in Long Island, New York. She started playing lacrosse when she was five and played every year all the way up through high school. At West Babylon she started out as a mid-fielder but transitioned to goal keeper her sophomore year. In 2010 & 2011 she was named to the First Team All Tournament roster for goal keeper on Long Island and ranked 12th in the state overall when she graduated. Although she wanted to play lacrosse in college, she decided to give up that dream and attend The University of Nevada, Reno in order to be close to family living in California. There she played with the Wolfpack for years, returning to her original position of Mid-Field and dominating in the draw control circle. She was awarded all Division recognition in 2015 when her team made it to the Championship round but unfortunately didn’t take the W. She graduated with a B.S. in Molecular Microbiology & Immunology/Biochemistry and loves science and is currently obtaining her Masters of Business Administration.
Cori spent six years in Reno and during this time helped a group of women start-up club lacrosse teams within the local high schools. She coached Reno and by the time she moved away the HSLL had gone from 3 teams to 9 teams! She loves spreading her passion of lacrosse to everyone, especially on the field as a coach and official.
Cori moved to California in August of 2017 and loved it so she decided to stay! She currently officiates for the high school and youth level women’s games and plays in an adult lacrosse league that meets a couple of times a month. She is at the Head Varsity Girls Coach at Novato High School and coached with 101 Club in summer of 2018. She also plays recreation softball and volleyball and loves to take her three dogs hiking and running on the beach.
